Frequently Asked Questions

What is professional coaching?

Committing to coaching helps you build confidence, resilience, and belief in your ability to reach your goals. A great coach will hold space for you to dig deep within yourself to discover what is truly possible. More than anything, a coach will help you get from where you are to where you want to be while leaving you firmly in the driver's seat of change. A coach is: a listener, a motivator, a confidant, a sounding board, and a great thought provoker, among other things.

Belief & Balance Professional Coaching believes in providing the highest quality coaching possible. This is done through certifications, continuous training, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

All first time clients must participate in The Belief & Balance Program which is in a group coaching format of small pods between 2 and 5 people. Our program includes training material that is reviewed individually before weekly group zoom sessions. While mental fitness is strengthened through each small action taken daily, the accountability, vulnerability and exploration within the pods is what makes the program so successful.

One-on-one coaching is delivered to the client through a series of zoom sessions which are approximately 1 hour in length. Sessions can be held weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Industry standard frameworks are used to guide the flow of the sessions. Through thought-provoking discussion, the client gains self-awareness and creates a strategy to take action between sessions. Resilience is built when challenges are faced between sessions and the client is able to modify their approach to the goal. There is accountability by having regular sessions to see what progress was made between meetings. Momentum builds as the client overcomes challenges and continues to work towards their ultimate goal.

It is important for you, the client, to understand that you are the creator of your life and without a true commitment to YOURSELF, much less, the coaching process, you will not see the growth that you are looking for. The coach will NOT give you the "answers" or do the hard things for you. Spoiler alert, YOU doing the hard things is the foundation of personal growth.

What's the catch with the free consultation?

I promise that there's no catch! The client-coach relationship is one that must be built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect. It is important for the client to pick a coach that they can connect with and it is important for the coach to accept clients that they can serve most effectively. You can expect the following from your free consultation:

  • A detailed explanation of what coaching sessions look like.

  • Clear expectations of the coach's commitment and yours.

  • Answers to any other questions you might have about coaching or the coach.

Do you offer one on one coaching sessions?

Yes! But this service is only offered to clients after they have participated in The Belief & Balance Program. This program teaches the critically important foundations of mental fitness that will be explored even further through one-on-one coaching sessions.
