Nakiya's Story

While I am confident in my ability to coach anyone, it is important that both YOU and I feel like we are a good fit for one another. It is because of this belief that I offer a completely free consultation where you and I can talk openly to ensure that we energetically align. 

I am a multi-passionate person. Here are some of my passions: leadership, the LGBTQIA+ community, meditation, self-improvement, traveling, hiking, and rock collecting. 

I have always been drawn to serving others and helping people live their most authentic lives. Over the years I have had countless friends and co-workers tell me that I "missed my calling". It turns out that I didn't miss it, I was just filling my proverbial tool belt. 

In addition to being a Professional Coach, I am an Internal Audit Manager at a multi-billion dollar company. I started with the company in 2015 as an entry level internal auditor and climbed the corporate ladder to get to my current role. The role has had me traveling extensively across the United States and Canada which has done amazing things for my understanding of people. I lead a team of amazing humans who get to feel seen and valued for their individual contributions that make the whole team a success. I have cultivated a culture of inclusivity, mental and emotional safety, responsibility, individual and shared goals, and real engagement.

I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ family. Much of my resilience came from childhood trauma and I have self-diagnosed ADHD. I love working with neurodivergent clients, so please don't be afraid to ask for accommodations if needed.
